The choice of readings that are available for our class to pick as topics for a presentation are all very interesting and exciting to work with. The two readings that I am most interested in working with are Collins' "Friend Game" and Hayles' "Hyper and Deep Attention".
"Friend Game" by Lauren Collins is an article about a girl who committed suicide as a result of a Myspace online hoax. This article caught my attention immediately because situations such as this one are happening more often in our society. It is a very serious and horrible thing to be aware of. Almost every college student is familiar with Myspace, Facebook, and other online friend connecting websites. It is important for us to have safety precautions when it comes to using these kind of websites. I am very interested in discovering the details about the people and ideas used in creating this hoax, which unfortunately led to a girl's death.
Another article that I am interested in is "Hyper and Deep Attention" by Katherine Hayles. I am majoring in Education and I believe this article would give me a great insight into how our society is changing when it comes to students and children. I would also like to learn more about the difference between hyper attention and deep attention.
I am very eager to work with either of these articles because they are both fascinating and will keep me well-informed.

Blog 1 - Google.docs
I have never used an editing progam such as google.docs. My first experience using google.docs in the classroom was very interesting. I thought it was a fast way to get information together from a group of people in a short period of time. However, any person who was also editing, could have made changes at any time. It was difficult to work with a large group of people to complete this task. When too many people were editing at once, the program stopped allowing some users the privelage to edit as well.
Google.docs does not allow users to communicate with each other while making changes, which is a disadvantage. It requires a group of people to work together without being aware of what another person might add to the document. It would be a good idea for google.docs to add some type of communication device to their program.
Overall, google.docs was an easy program to use and quickly understandable. I had a generally good experience using google.docs and I gained knowledge about a program I was not aware of before hand.
